It is of my belief that stress disrupts the delicate balance of the autonomic nervous system. This results in so called the fight-or-flight (sympathetic) system to go into hyperdrive, whereas the opposing side called the parasympathetic system is suppressed.
Interestingly, TCM’s Yin-Yang balance closely resembles this delicate balance between the sympathetic and the parasympathetic parts of our autonomic nervous system.
I have spent my entire career in exploring the similarities between TCM’s Ying-Yang theory and the intricacies of the autonomic nervous system. Let me help you to restore the health of your autonomic nervous system by balancing Yin-Yang energies in the body.

Sleep is one of the three pillars of health.
Not being able to sleep soundly at night carries many health consequences. Not being able to fall asleep naturally and easily, waking up one or more times during the night, and not able to go back to sleep are serious signals that the body is sending us.
We need to listen to the body, identify the root causes and fix what’s behind the sleeplessness.

Vertigo could come up due to neck issues, inner ear issues, trauma to the brain or some nutrient deficiencies.
However, there are significant portion of the population who experience vertigo or dizziness after a stressful event.
TCM understands that stress causes Liver energy to become stagnant or stuck. Unresolved Live energy stagnation could ignite into fire, a.k.a Liver Fire Rising. This condition is the most common reason for vertigo in TCM.
Since the corona pandemic, I have visibly seen an increase in vertigo patients coming in with Liver Fire Rising. Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine could be used to contain the flame back to healthy levels.
